I also had the option of returning the laptop if anything came up in the first 14 days of use but just my luck that this started post the 14 day policy. I'd been an avid MBP used between 2009-2018.

I bought this laptop after having had a disastrous experience with my Lenovo last year. My MBP got very hot the first day it started and then I noticed it, so it could be linked to that?
MACBOOK PRO VEGA 20 SCREEN FLICKERING SOFTWARE
I thought it was a software issue but apparently, it's also happening in 10.14.5 ( I didn't experience it when I was using that).

Doesn't show up when I'm watching videos or browsing Netflix, etc. It's mostly visible on white screens (like Safari) and is present only for 1-2 seconds. Since then, it's been happening on and off, maybe once in 20 mins or once every hour. Updated it last week, and maybe a couple of days later I saw a brief flicker on the screen.
MACBOOK PRO VEGA 20 SCREEN FLICKERING UPDATE
Kept getting reminders to update to 10.14.6 but kept putting it off because never had the time to update. I purchased my MBP 2019 2.4 Ghz 256 GB on the 2nd of September.
